DERIVE VALENCIA

Inspired by the Situationists we set off from the 0KM stone at Plaza del Sol in the middle of Madrid as well as Spain; drifting around the city in the vague direction of Valencia. Without maps we walked from the centre to the end of the city, recording experiences on the way - and keeping in touch both with the main control center in the middle of the city and with the other group heading to Valencia. The experiences were gathered in an installation at ETSAM in Madrid, with two projectors showing the two group's paths and communication.
