YAMANOTE
Finishing my stay in Japan, Siri came up with the brilliant idea of doing the Yamanote line - one of Tokyo's most busy train lines connecting the inner city - by foot. With almost 30 stations and a track length of 35 km, we spent 14 hours walking the entire line, estimated length by between 45 and 50 km. Starting in Shibuya at 7:00 in the morning we were quite dead by Ueno (half way), cause then the rain came. But we've been walking in the mountains before and could happily greet Hachiko at nine o'clock in the evening with cold, blue feet. But Happy!
