ANALYZING AN EXISTING BUILDING

With this project we were to analyze an exisiting building, in our case the Cullinan House in Camden, London, designed by Edward Cullinan in the 60s. In order to fully understand the thoughts adopted by the brutalists, we decided to build our model in concrete, which turned out to be a rather difficult but most amusing method. To make sure the model would be as accurate as possible we studied plans and sections and a few photos published in "Byggekunst" and the book "Edward Cullinan Architects".
